ESI's engineering expertise has been utilized on a number of intake installations including the Lake Oswego, Oregon municipal water intake, Alameda County, California Water District, as well as hydroelectric power generation facilities in California and Wisconsin.

Stress analysis and careful design of the many stainless steel components that make up the large assembly is crucial. The end results are robust and efficient designs to withstand hydraulic, wind, seismic, and debris flow conditions.
