ESI Engineering has recently been certified to give an exciting American Institute of Architects approved presentation on the basics of architectural acoustics! The presentation counts as 1-hour of CEU credits for AIA members, with a Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) credit.
The presentation was jointly developed by the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) Technical Committee on Architectural Acoustics (TCAA) and the AIA. It provides an overview of architectural acoustics, using appropriate terminology and basic examples, and covers three major components of architectural acoustics; sound isolation, HVAC noise control, and finish treatments.
We are happy to provide this review of the fundamentals of architectural acoustics and help you receive the CEU and HSW credits. If your firm is interested in setting up a lunch presentation, please email info@esi-engineering.com.
