The Lauritzen Outpatient Center is a new facility for the Nebraska Medical Center, that comprises 170,000 square feet of space for outpatient care and surgery. ESI provided a site vibration survey to assess traffic on adjacent roadways, footfall vibration analysis of the floors supporting critical occupancies and mechanical equipment isolation systems.

The layout of the building included two levels of parking below four levels of occupied medical space which presented additional challenges that required assessment by ESI’s engineers.
A site vibration survey and schematic design narrative helped identify vibration and noise concerns and establish design criteria early in the project.
