When the historic Princeton, Minnesota Power Plant was expanded and upgraded, a barrier wall was required for the existing rooftop radiator to reduce noise in a residential neighborhood. O’Neill Engineered Systems teamed with ESI to design and install a barrier wall on the rooftop in a challenging site. ESI carried out the structural design and drawings for the 20-foot high wall.
Sound barriers of this type often present structural challenges due to snow drift and wind loading, as well as the design for sound attenuation. ESI holds trusted expertise in both areas and was able to provide a complete solution.
We have successfully teamed with O'Neill Engineered Systems on many noise control projects.
