Fort Riley Hospital Replacement - Fort Riley, KS

Vibration Control & Measurement

Location: Fort Riley, Kansas Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers General Contractor: Leo A Daly

ESI provided vibration and noise control engineering services for a new 550,000 square foot hospital and clinic built to provide state-of-the-art healthcare for the US Army base at Fort Riley.

ESI completed a footfall vibration analysis for imaging equipment as well as for operating rooms.

Vibration isolation details for the central plant mechanical equipment were evaluated, including three large vertical turbine pumps requiring specification of special isolation devices.

ESI also provided noise control recommendations for the MRI and the fifth level AHUs.
