ESI Engineering’s noise control consultants were a part of the design team for this high-profile luxury apartment high-rise constructed next to an existing LRT station. We provided detailed noise assessment, analysis, and design recommendations to control noise transmission through wall and floor/ceiling systems as well as proper treatment of plumbing, elevator, and mechanical equipment adjacent to living spaces.

Community areas and club rooms adjacent to luxury apartments required a special wall design with high STC rating to help minimize airborne noise.
